Love You

This is "Love You".

On Saturday I had a few ladies in for a card class and I had good intentions of joining in with the crafting fun but that did not happen! But, I still had fun.
The background I did on Saturday, showing the ladies my method of smooshing. We were using darker colours, being Lucky Clover, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio.

Also on Saturday we did the lattice piece. I used a very old die for this, but any die that will fit with your design can be used. Once cut I tore the die up a bit, as I did not want a solid piece of lattice.
That is as far as I got on Saturday for my card. This is when it becomes apparant that I am not as young as I want to think I am. Wow, was I ever tired. So on Sunday all I did was colour what I had stamped for my design.

Using Copic markers for the colouring, on the birds I used BG07, BG45, BG02 and R05, YR07, YR02.
The branch was done using G17 and G14 and the flower is Y15 with G17, G14. The envelope was stamped using a gray ink and coloured with C3 and BG07 Copic.
The sentiment is from another Honey Bee stamp set but I thought it would be cute for the birds, so I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink and cut it out.

To put it all together I die cut the coloured pieces with the coordinating dies and styled the pieces as needed using my stylist. I then glued on the lattice to the smooshed piece and attached it all to my card base using scorpal tape.
Using foam squares I arranged the pieces where I wanted them and adhered them in place. I then glued the sentiment to the piece using Nuvo adhesive.

That finished card one, and tomorrow I will have card two ready to show you. I hope you have enjoyed this card today, and I thank you for joining me.

Following are the Affiliate links for the products that I used for this card, at no extra expense to you. I greatly appreciate your support.
