Colourful Flowers

Let me introduce you to "Colourful Flowers".

This card I have done for the Scrap'n Stamp Random Act of Cardness event. Today the prompt is "Colour".
As this card is about Colour, I made sure I used a host of different colours to show how the colours will flow, and all will work together.

To start my card I made the slimline card using Neenah cardstock. On the front of the card base I did stencilling using a plaid stencil along with distress oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Salvaged Patina.
For the flowers in my mini Misti I stamped the corner floral bunches 3 times using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, then die cut the pieces before colouring.

I also stamped the dragonfly, again using the Memento Ink, and die cut it in my Gemini Jr. I then proceeded to colour the pieces using Copic markers. (the colour is off a bit as I turned the card away from the light)
The Copic colours I used are as follows working from the top down:

Flowers: RV25, RV04, RV02; Y18, Y19, Y35 and the leaves G05, G09, G17;
Middle Flowers: B0000, BG53, BG45, BG57; R27, R17, R24; leaves YG21, YG03, YG23;
Bottom Flowers: YR01, YR02, YR65; R05, Y35, Y15; leaves G05, G09, G17;
Dragonfly: BG10, C3 and 100.
Once all the colouring was done I styled the flowers and the dragonfly, then attached them to the card using foam tape. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze, and die cut it with the coordinating die.

For a bit of sparkle I added some Studio Katia gems along with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen to the dragonfly.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card, and that you will become comfortable using bold and bright colours for your beautiful cards.
