Simple Hello Watercolour

This is "Simple Hello Watercolour".

It is that time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week we are watching a video on making simple all occasion watercolour cards.
For this card I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper #140lb. The watercolours are all Daniel Smith Watercolours.

I love bright happy colours, so I picked three happy colours to use. The top panel is done with Hansa Yellow and Cadmium Orange. The second panel is Hansa Yellow mixed with Cadmium Orange and Permanent Rose.

I added the salt to the mixture, although it looks to me like it did not work on the middle rectangle.
Once everything was dry I removed the tape and the salt.

Drawing is not my forte for sure, so I stamped the floral design using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. From another set I stamped the Hello, also in the Nocturne.
I sprinkled the rectangles with Nuvo shimmering pen, and added the fabric dot pieces in yellow and pink.

To finish off I matted the watercolour panel using foam tape and black cardstock, then attached it to my Neenah card base.
I have succeeded I think, as this card makes me happy. I hope it gives you a smile as well.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card at no extra cost to you.
