Happy

This is "Happy".

It is Friday evening as I write this post up, and that means it is time for the Inspiration Challenge Splitcoaststampers.com, where we are visiting 4SeasonsHome. My inspiration came from this wreath. It was the bright colours that grabbed me, and reminded me of a rainbow.
On a cut piece of Neenah card I did the rainbow starting at the top left side using Oxide inks. First is Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet.

Using a separate piece of Neenah card I coloured a large spot with the Salvaged Patina, then die cut the Dandelion flower, and die cut another flower in the white. On the Salvaged Patina flower I applied Nuvo Shimmer Glitter Gloss.
Moving on from the flowers I stamped the "you" which is by Gina K Design, using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze and die cut it using the coordinating die. For the sentiment I did some stamp surgery, using parts of stamps to make the "make me" and "Happy" sentiments.

To put it all together I attached the panel to my card base using foam tape. I then glued the flowers in place with Nuvo Adhesive.
Moving on to the sentiments I attached the "you" using foam strips on either side of the flower stems. I glued the one sentiment to the card front, and attached the Happy on an angle using foam strips.

On the inside I cleaned the stencil with a baby wipe over a piece of cardstock which transfers the colours to the card. I then finished with a few gems.
I am pleased with how this card turned out, and yes, it does make me happy. I hope it does you as well.
