Hello Friend

Introducing "Hello Friend".

This card has been done for the Scrap'n Stamp Random Act of Cardness challenges with today's prompt word being "Acetate".
To start this card I cut a piece of acetate to fit the frame I was using. I then stamped my image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black on the front of my card base, which is Neenah card.

Next up was to apply the alcohol inks to the acetate, but I wanted the inks to be on the inside of acetate, so I had to think "opposite" as I went. To do this I applied little drops of the inks as I went and used my alcohol ink blower to move the ink.
I added only a few drops of blending solution where needed on a part of the flower and a bit on the greens.

Once finished with the inks I glued the acetate in the four corners to the card front. I then glued together 3 die cuts of the outside frame, cut using Hammermill card, and attached it to the card front.
Using Neenah card 120 lb. I die cut 4 of the inner frame so it would sit slightly above the outer frame. I did not think it would look good being level.

I then added the Hello Friend sentiment to a piece of Neenah cardstock, trimming the piece as needed and added inside the frame using foam squares.
For a finishing touch I added some Hampton gems in the colours used, which adds a nice amount of sparkle to the finished card.

I really like how this turned out, and I hope you will give it a try.
