Cuppa

This is "Cuppa".

When I first saw this stamp it was a have to have, so on the Christmas list it went, and Santa was good! Another stamp that is so me, but also a stamp that I think you will all enjoy.

The first colour choices I thought of were the oranges, so I went with it.
First I am using Neenah Solar Crest card which is a single layer card. I started by heat embossing the snowflakes, including the large flake on her hat using Snow Crystal embossing powder.

 I used the one inch cube of embossing ink from Tim Holtz to apply the ink, which made it much easier to control.
When the embossing was done, I stamped the image in my mini Misti with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, covering the snowflake on the hat as well as the snowflakes to the left.

Using my Copic markers I began to colour. Following are the colours I used:
Her coat, including scarf is YR14, YR18, YR68, YR07, E97 and E37;
Hat colours are YR18, YR07, YR14
Gloves E23, E17, E37
Skin E31, E41, E93; Lips RV32
Bird YR21, YR23, YR02
Table E23, E17, E37
Skates C3, Shadow BG11, Steam C3, E31
Once I was happy with the colouring I put the card back in my mini Misti and stamped the Penny Black sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone.

A note, the heat embossing will warp the card slightly, so right after I have finished the embossing I tape my card to my work surface on all sides and proceed to colour.

By the time I am done with the colouring the card shape is back to normal.Thank you for visiting today. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I have used for this card at no extra expense to you.
