This is "First Snow".
A mini watercolour which I have done for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week we watched this video.
I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper for this miniature painting today.
I first did the house, and must say thank goodness for rulers, which I used to build my little cottage. I should really take some drawing classes.
I then painted the house and added the tree along with fall coloured leaves. Some extra colour on the roof then painted in the sky and lawn and added in the cobblestone sidewalk.
The design is a whimsical design, which I love. To finish up I added splatters of snow using white gouache mixed with Nuvo Glitter Gloss.
