Oh Deer!

Hello and welcome to Oh Deer!

I did this card for this week's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. We had a visit to a store called Ruggable, along with their Pinterest Boards. I went to their Pinterest page and under Home Office Inspirations I found this room.

The room has most of the colours I used, the darker green, light greens and the blue found on the guitar, along with the brown on the desks from my deer.

For the background I did smooshing using distress inks on cardstock. For the trees I used watercolour card and die cut the trees. I then put down the colour and spritzed with water, dragging the tree through the colours, letting them dry and dragging again.
I attached my background to my white card base, then styled and attached the trees using foam squares. The scene has five die cut trees used.

I then stamped the deer and water coloured using distress ink in walnut stain along with black soot. I also added red to the nose for a little fun. I then fussy cut the deer.
Finishing up I added the cute deer to my scene, again using foam squares.

The scene had enough going on, so I used a sentiment on the inside.
Thank you for dropping by today. I hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. That deer puts a smile on my face.
