Polar Bear Night

 This is Polar Bear Night.

I have made this card for this week's Inspiration Challenge where we are visiting the iCanvas Pinterest Boards. I picked this piece for my inspiration. This stamp set comes with both the stamps and dies for the Polar Bears, as well as a few other stamps, and it is really cute and I found it fun to colour.

Using Alcohol Ink cardstock I first did the alcohol ink background using Pearl Alcohol inks in Tranquil, Celestial and Intrigue, along with Alcohol inks in Glacier, Aquamarine and Indigo and the blending solution. I set the piece aside to dry.Using Neenah card I stamped the bears using Stormy Sky distress ink and coloured with Copics, using R32, R08, R22, R20, B00 and BV31. I coloured the noses using a black Sharpie, then used the coordinating dies to cut out.

Once the Alcohol piece was dry I die cut the panel using a Paper Rose die. I then stamped the snowflakes and icebergs using VersaMark embossing ink and Glacier White embossing powder, and heat embossed.

To finish up I attached the alcohol panel to my white card base using Nuvo Adhesive. I opted to stamp the sentiment inside as I felt there was enough on the front and I did not want to cover up anymore of the alcohol panel.

I then attached the Bears using foam strips over the iceberg'sNeedless to say, this card was great fun to make and I hope you enjoy it as well.
