You are ...

It certainly has been a very busy week for me. I can't even begin to count the number of cards I have made for various reasons.

Alas tomorrow is a new day, but before that happens I would like to share the card I did for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com, where we are visiting the Pinterest page of Home & Design.

For my card I picked this wall art for inspiration. only because I liked the colours.

To start I am using my stencil Poufy Flowers, spraying distress oxide inks through the stencil in random order, using the pink raspberry, abandoned coral, mustard seed and fired brick.

I love abstract art, so I went with it, which is easy enough with this kind of stencil.

Once I had sprayed the colours I also sprayed with a mix of perfect pearls and water and put my card up on its end to allow some of the colours to run. While still wet I added splatters, and added more splatters after the piece was dry.

In looking at it I realized I did not have the green in there, so with my paint brush and using Daniel Smith Sap Green I added sort of leaves.

Making sure my background was completely dry I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

To finish I matted using the pink and attached all to a bright yellow card base. This is going to a friends granddaughter and I am pretty sure she will love it.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card today, at no extra cost to you.
