Rainbow and Flowers

This card is done for my Dare to Get Dirty 2021 challenge, and yes, you are right, I cannot tell you what the challenge is, but I doubt you will have too much trouble figuring it out.

To start I die cut the white cardstock with my pierced rectangle dies. I did a quick measure across the top as I wanted to use 6 colours, and not the indigo blue that is normally added.

I also did not want to colour over the piercing so measured from just inside it to just inside on the other side. With that done, using 1/8th inch masking tape I masked off the area between each colour then coloured using Copic markers.

I did not use tape on the two outside colours, and see how wonky I got on the right side, whereas the left side is fine. Sheez!

I then die cut the lattice look background pieces in black and cut and glued in place. Then in my mini Misti I stamped the floral using Memento ink, even though I was not colouring it. I did not want to worry about smears.

I added foam squares to the back of the floral image.

I then attached the white panel to my black card base using glue. I then attached the flower to the white card. For the sentiment I heat embossed it using gold embossing powder, die cut and attached to the flower.

To finish I added a few gold crystals around the card, including a small one on the sentiment banner.

You all know how much I love colour, so of course I love this card. I hope you enjoy it as well, and I thank you for your visit.
