How do you like CAS cards? I was in the mood today to make a clean and simple card, and as it is time for the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers, this would be a good opportunity.
For the challenge we are visiting the Pinterest page of Nina Cloak and when I saw this dress I knew what I would make.
On a piece of Neenah cardstock cut to size I blended on Kitsch Flamingo Oxide Ink. Ensuring the ink was dry I then powdered the pink area and stamped my image using VersaMark embossing ink and Hero Arts White embossing powder.
To the stamped image I added some splatters using Opera Pink and Deep Scarlett watercolour. I ignored the black as I felt the dark red was enough.
I then die cut 3 pieces of the "miss you" die, and glued them together.
For dimension I added foam tape to the back of the pink panel and attach it to my white card base. I then attached the "miss you" sentiment using Nuvo adhesive.
And I finished with a few Studio Katia gems.
The picture above shows the detail up close. I love the softness about it and I think it has a lot to do with the pink colour.
