Miss you Bunny

Hello all! I hope you are having a great day. Even though this little Bunny is negotiating the rain, she is as cute as can be. That is why I decided to paint her pink. This past year feels like it has been a fantasy read from a book, so I went with it.

Starting off with Arches 110lb cold press watercolour paper I stamped the bunny using Memento Ink in London Fog. This included the puddles on the road.

Starting with the Bunny, I painted using Daniel Smith Quinacridone Pink and Gothite (Brown Ochre), going over the stamped lines with the Gothite. I then painted the umbrella using Alizarin Crimson and ended up not liking the colour. So I went over it with Schmincke Scarlet Red, which made the colour brighter and happier.

Moving on using Manganese Blue to paint around the puddles and Jane's Grey inside the puddles. I stamped the raindrops using Wendy Vecchi Cornflower Blue and coloured the drop with Sakura Stardust Clear Glitter Pen. I also added the glitter pen to the puddles.

To finish up I first cut the card to 5 x 3.75, then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

I cut a piece of Gold Mirror card to underlay my watercolour piece, and attached both pieces to a Bazzill card base in Berry Sensation. I love love love that colour!

A fun card to do for today, which I have also done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. Our site for today is Random House and I picked this image to jump off from.

There are so many published books about Bunny's, but none with them in the rain! hmm

Thank you for your visit today. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I used for this card today, at no extra cost to you. Have yourself a wonderful day!
