Friendship

This is Friendship. I opted for the sentiment to be on the inside instead of covering up the flowers on the front, which was my only option when finishing this card.

The colours are so beautiful, with the saturation of colour from the Copic markers. Needless to say I am very happy with how this turned out.

First I stamped in my Misti the flowers and petals that I would be using with Memento Ink, then proceeded to do the colouring. It took me quite awhile due to the number of markers I used, so I had a break when I finished the colouring. lol

The leaves are done with BG11, BG32 and BG13, and G40, YG61 and YG63. The left flower is done using R20, R21, R22, R32, R43 and R27. The smaller flower is done using T18, Y38, YR18 and YR09.

Once all the colouring was completed I ran the images through my Gemini Jr. and began to arrange them. But it was not working for me.

Now you are not going to remember this, but back in December I used my plaid stencil with this card. As per usual I never clean my stencils when it is just ink, I let it stay there as you never know. I did not clean it when making this card either. I simply added the Squeezed Lemonade to the stencil so when I added the paste both colours would be dragged into the mix.

I love the results, and it is just what my card needed. I set the piece aside to dry and came to write up my post and gather my links. By that time the background was dry.

I attached the stencilled piece to a Gina K. Design Coral card base. Then with my stylists I styled the flowers and leaves and arranged them on the card using foam squares to attach.

To finish off my card I added some Studio Katia crystals.

I hope you have enjoyed this card and the process as much as I have and thank you for your visit. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
