Abstract Circles

 Happy Watercolour Wednesday to you.
This week we are painting abstract circles and what fun it was.

Our reference video for this week can be found here.

I started with the circles, from largest to smallest using Daniel Smith watercolours. I am enjoying using my green palette a lot lately, and that it was I picked to use for this challenge.

I started with the Cascade Green, which is the light blue colour, some Jadeite Genuine, Green Gold, Green Apatite Genuine, moving to Sap Green and finishing with Undersea Green. I spritzed the wet watercolour as she did in the video, but I got wider dribbles which I actually like.

I let the piece dry naturally, then did splatters using some of the same colours and allowed those to dry. Placing the panel in my mini Misti, I arranged the stamps and stamped the circles around the paint using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne.

I heat the piece using my heat tool to set the black ink. I have been known to smudge it at this point in the past.

In my mini Misti I then stamped the sentiment using VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Wake up create Repeat. Love that sentiment.

I finished by adding foam tape to the back of the card and applying the piece to a Gina K Design card base of  Fresh Asparagus card.

This is a fun process so I hope you will give it a go. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I used to make this card, at no extra cost to you.
