Happy Winter

As you know, I do love the winter, which is happening outside as I write this. Wonderful white snow!

I did this as my sample for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week. My inspiration came from this Pin at our Inspiration Site called Fancy.

My cardstock is Hammermill card, which I love for Copic colouring. I used it for my background as well, stamping the trees from Paper Rose using Wendy Vecchi Make Art inks in three different colours.

I stamped the Snowman using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic markers in turquoise and green colours.

To put it all together I attached the background to a Turquoise card base. I then fussy cut the snowman, styled him slightly and attached him to the scene using foam tape.

I then stamped the sentiment from Crafter's Companion using VersaFine Clair Ink in Warm Breeze.

I added some sparkle with Nuvo's Glitter Gloss pen running it across the tree edge and adding to the Snowman's fur ball tassel on his hat. For the blades on the skates I used my silver Sharpie marker. I also used the silver and gold Sharpie markers to add more snow dots over the trees, as well as adding skate marks on the ice.

I admit, another fun card to make. He makes me happy when I look at that cute snowman.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and wish to thank you for visiting. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
