Wonderful Time

I am finally able to post my card from yesterday that I did for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. What an ordeal, but it is finally resolved.

The IC took us to a site called JRL Interiors where I found this picture about holiday gifts. So, I decided to go with it and use my Penny Black set called Snowfield Friends.

I stamped the images using Memento Ink in Jet Black on Hammermill Premium cardstock, then die cut the Winter Greens using the same cardstock.

I proceeded to colour using Copic markers. I used a lot of colours for this scene. I have not linked to them in my Affiliate Links, but I will give the colours as I discuss the card.

To colour the Winter Greens I used YG03, G43 and YG17.

The fox is done using E40, E41, E31, E35 and E37. For his scarf I used BG11, BG34 and BG49.
I start with the lightest going up to the darkest, then come back down, darkest to lightest to blend.

The gift sack is done using YG03, YG23, and YG63, as is one of the presents in the sack. The red present is R20, R29, R46. The other is BG11 and BG34.

I did the snow using E40, which is also on the fur of the gift sack. On the tag is Nuvo Shimmer Pen in Midas Touch.

The berries on the Winter Greens are done with R29 along with Nuvo Shimmer Pen Midas Touch.

The background I did using Y0000 and G40.

I glued on the Winter Greens using Nuvo adhesive, then attached the top panel to American Crafts designer papers called Holiday, which I then attached to my Neenah card base.

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

Another fun Christmas card completed to mail out. Thank you for visiting today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used, at no extra cost to you.
