Miss you

I am up on the Scrap'n Stamp blog today with this card which is also part of our continuing 30 day Random Acts of Cardness challenge. Today is day 30, and that means it is time for tone on tone.

My colour is Blue, as you can see. I have several shades of blue on this card.  I used 4 different Oxide inks, used light blue cardstock for my panel piece and the dark blue royal blue card base. Tone on tone in my humble opinion is how you want to make it. I like using different shades of a colour.

I die cut the light blue piece of cardstock using Penny Black's Stitched Stackers. On my Stay-tion, using the magnets I secured my cardstock along with my Picket Fence stencil, and using the Life Changing Brushes I sponged on the inks, starting with the lightest and ending with Chipped Sapphire.

Once I was done with the sponging, keeping the stencil in place I applied a thin layer of Stickles Glitter Gel in Moon Dust, which brings in more shades of blue. I love these stickles. Not only are they very pretty they do not dry up in the container. Bonus I say! I am tired of throwing out glitter gels.

I attached the card panel to my base, then die cut 2 of the "miss you" pieces, glued together, then glued to the card.

I considered a few sequins, but I felt the card did not need them. I liked the look of it as it is.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card as much as I have enjoyed making it. Following are Affiliate Links for the products that I used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
