Abstract Watercolour

The following cards I have done for the Watercolour Wednesday challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge is Abstract P;us Silhouettes.
I cannot begin to tell you how much fun I had doing these cards, ending up with five cards.
All the cards have areas that I taped off to use for sentiments when the painting was done and for all the cards I have used Arches 140lb Cold Press Arches watercolour paper.

The colours I used are all from Daniel Smith, and I have to say I think the card above is my favourite. I used Rose of Ultramarine, Green Gold and Quinacridone Gold. The silhouette stamp is from an Altenew set as is the sentiment.
The sentiment is stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Fantasia and the silhouette in VersaFine Clair in Nocturne.
For this card I used Quinacridone Rose, Indian Yellow and the Green Gold again.
This would be my number two choice, I love the colours.

The silhouette image is from Gina K Designs, and the sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studios. and both are stamped using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne.

Next up is "Colours".
These colours are more bold than the other colours I used. There is some Pyrrol Scarlet, Phthalo Green Blue Shade and Hansa Yellow.

I stamped the sentiment which is from Altenew using VersaFine Ink in Warm Breeze and attached to a matching card base. The little frames with the silhouette inside are from Penny Black, one of which I painted gold, and the silhouette, stamped in VersaFine Clair Nocturne is also from Altenew.

Next up is Moments.
I kind of like this one as well. The colours worked really well I think, done in Quinacridone Rose, Indian Yellow and Phthalo Blue Green Shade.

The Silhouette is from Gina K Designs and the sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studios with both being stamped in VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
And finally:
The card I cut wrong which I did a quick repair by adding glitter cardstock to the sides. I could not adjust the height so it had to be this way .... life happens!

I had a great time doing these cards and I hope if you can you will try this technique out. It is addicting.
