Technique Junkies June Release

Hello everyone and welcome to Technique Junkies June Release.
I think you are going to love the release!

I first have to say that I am using a temporary blog for this post, as my real blog is in the process of being transferred to a Wordpress Theme blog. I am excited about it, but this part is a royal pain, and I apologise. This post will be transferred to the new blog.

I knew the minute I saw this Nautilus Mosaic stamp that this is what I would be doing with it. I stamped on Neenah card stock using VersaFine Clair in Nocturne. I love that ink, it is immediate coverage, which is great. I do dry the ink when I use it, especially given I am using Copics here.
I picked the colours I wanted to use and away I went, colouring a couple at a time. Once complete I matted with a deep orange and attached to my black card base.
To finish I tore a piece of vellum paper, then stamped the sentiment with the VersaFine ink, heating to dry. I attached the vellum piece using vellum glue tape.
For my next card I used the Whitecaps stamp, the Dolphin and the make a Splash sentiment. In my mini Misti, and using distress oxide ink in Salty Ocean I partially inked the stamp and spritzed with water before stamping. I then stamped the Dolphin on hot press water colour paper, painted with the distress ink in salty ocean, and some Nuvo Aqua Flow in Azure Blue.
I then fussy cut the dolphin and glued the bottom to the card base, and used foam squares for the upper part. To finish I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.
For my third and final card I used one of the beautiful Underwater Borders stamp. I truly love these borders. I coloured using Copics, and I just now noticed that I coloured part of the shell with green - oops!
I used a blue/green marker for the water, then went over it with a light blue. I very much like the look. I finished by stamping the sentiment using teal ink then stamping again with a blue ink.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards, even the mistakes!

You can find the complete new release here. Be sure to take advantage of the discount valid until June 8th.
