Saying Hi

It is my last week designing for the Colour Challenge at Splitcoaststampers, and I have enjoyed it very much.

This week's colours, based on Stampin' Up, are as follows:
I have used colours close in value, using Copic Sketch Markers as my starting point, and added designer paper, which is dessert for the challenge.
I did not use many markers for this, two markers for each colour, as the image did not require more. I love this cute image from Picket Fence Studios, and I love the sentiment I have used on the front of the card. "Hi" is very Canadian, so it is perfect for me.
In my Misti I stamped the image using Memento Ink, and die cut my image with my stitched circle die from a piece of Neenah card stock 5.5x4.25". I saved the remainder and have used it for the inside of the card, then proceeded to colour with my Copics.
I then put the circle back in my Misti and stamped the sentiment using Ranger Archival ink in Sepia. I die cut 2 slightly smaller circles from the designer paper and arranged the pieces on my card front. I added the strip of designer paper along the bottom to carry more of the brown in.
For the inside I die cut the piece left over from the front using my stitched rectangle dies, then masked off the area and stamped the "leaves" of the image, and the sentiment, and added a few accessory pieces in pink to the bottom left. I thought about stamping the sentiment using the Sepia again, but I think the black was a better choice for the inside.

I am sorry my picture's are not quite up to par today, the weather is not cooperating, but I thank you for your visit.

I have attached affiliate links for the USA and Canada, when available.
