Meet Happy Hugs!
Who said Valentine cards had to be pink or red?

If you have followed me you will be aware that I love anything and everything about birds. So how could I resist these sweeties from Penny Black Stamps.
I started out with my background, die cutting the water colour panel with my Sweetheart Layers die, and applying a wash using Schmincke May Green water colour. Once it was dry I splattered it with white acrylic paint. I stamped the bird images using the same water colour paper and proceeded to water colour the birds with Kuretake Zig Clean Color Pens.
I attached a green card stock underlay along with the water colour sweetheart die panel to the card base. I then added foam squares to the previous die cut Heart Circle, along with the bird images and arranged everything on the card.
To finish I stamped the Happy Hugs using Ranger Archival Ink in Vibrant Fuchsia. I then did the inside, using the Heart Day stamp set, stamped in the Fuchsia and added a green heart that was from the Heart Circle die.
I hope you have enjoyed this card, and I thank you for visiting my blog today.
