Cool and Crisp

In my area it is a wonderfully cool day, even if it is overcast. So much better than those hot days we had a few days ago.
And, to go along with my weather, I have done this fall leaf that I just received from Concord & 9th. I just love that they have done the shading for us with this set.😊

I started this card with the leaf. On watercolour paper and in my Misti I coloured the stamp using my distress markers. I love the crackled appearance done this way. Once I was done the colouring, I heat embossed using Nuvo Shimmering embossing powder, then fussy cut the leaf.
then die cut my panel using Neenah Solar Crest cardstock using my stitched rectangle die and stamped the shadow using vintage blue embossing powder from Michaels. I put the panel back in my Misti and stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the card, using colours from the leaf.
I finished my card by attached my panel to a blue card base, styling the leaf a bit and adding it to the panel using foam squares and I added a few gumdrops.

I hope you have enjoyed this card today, and wish to thank you for visiting my blog.
