Treasure

I am up on My Sweet Petunia today to share this card I made for Team Tuesday with Kia.
It is a different look for me, but I do like it. I would normally heat emboss with clear or white, and as that is what I would normally do, it was time to change it up a bit. But, I am getting ahead of myself. I started with my background.
Using Color Burst in Ultramarine Blue I added the powder to Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper and spritzed with a fair amount of water. I would normally help with the movement, but I decided to let it go where it wanted and left it to dry.
In my original Misti I then stamped the Beautiful Flowers image using Versamark Ink, and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. As this stamp set does not have a coordinating die I cut the image with my Scan'N Cut, then proceeded to watercolour using Zig Clean Colour Brushes.
I did several layers of colour until I was happy. Once completed I put the image back in my mini Misti and using the back side of the mouse pad I styled the back of the stamped image to add dimension. I flicked gold paint on the blue panel and stamped my sentiment  heat embossing with the gold embossing powder.
I added foam dots to the back before attaching to my card base, and finished my card by adding Nuvo Jewel Drops in Clear. You could also use the Sea Breeze drops.
I did not want to add anything further, there is a lot going on with this card already, but it certainly was fun to do something different from your norm. I highly recommend it.
This is a close up of my finished card.
I have also done a video of this card and the process. It is a bit longer than what I would like ... I do take my time when I paint.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed this card and will see you next time.
