Ruff Day

Today I am sharing a card I did for the latest release at Frantic Stamper called Pet Love.  This little lady is very special to me as she is named after my late dog Sweet Pea, which was so very nice of Fran and Kathy of Frantic Stamper. So, of course this was the first card I did colouring to mimic the colouring of my dog. To keep my card girlie, I used the new Elementals #18 Stitched Bracket Squares and the coordinating Bracket Squares In Betweens behind my dog, which I attached to the pretty plaid patterned designer paper. As her head and body are separate pieces, I used a moveable gel that allows her head to move, and attached her body with foam dots. I die cut the Fishtail Label and placed it in my Misti before stamping my sentiment. As you know I love sequins, but I love dog bones better for this card, so I attached a few of the bones from the accessory kit. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for visiting.
Products: All dies are from Frantic Stamper and linked above, Neenah Cardstock, Bazzill Cardstock, MFT Plaid Patterns Paper, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Fossalized Amber, Dusty Concord.

  1. This is one of those cards that you can't give away; you need to hold on to this. It's so beautiful that FS named the die after your dog. I love the plaid background with the coloring you did on Sweet Pea and those tiny bones are such a cute addition.
