Little Delights

The Inspiration Challenge today had us visit a Pinterest Board called The Beauty of a Single Layer card. So many wonderful cards to inspire, but I finally settled on this card as my inspiration. I coloured my stamp with markers and spritzed with water. Once dry I stenciled the background around the flower lightly with distress inks, then stamped my sentiment in bold black ink. And, of course I added my trademark sequins to finish.

I love the light blue in the background and the unexpected lattice with the bright red and green of the flowers.

And for the inside I stamped a large butterfly which was coloured with the same markers. Added another bold and black sentiment along with a few more sequins and crystals. Thanks for having a look ...

  1. Love the softly stenciled background, Kia! Really makes that gorgeous flower pop! And of course, I'm partial to sequins, so love those too! The interior of the card is quite lovely too! Thanks so much for leaving some love on my blog :)
