Enjoying Nature

Playing along with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today which was to pick a colour combination to use for your card. I picked this combination for my card. On watercolour paper I first inked my stamp with TH Distress Ink Broken China and spritzed with water. Once dry I sponged on TH Distress Inks Tumbled Glass, Pine Needles and Shabby Shutters. I die cut my flower using watercolour paper and painted the stem with the shabby shutters and my flower with Winsor Newton Orange. I added the sentiment coloured with Docraft Black Marker and a few butterflies from my stash, along with a black gem that dots my "i". Thanks for having a look today ...

  1. Kia, the background and color are amazing! And I love the embossing - wow! And what a beautiful flower and butterfly! Such a gorgeous card with just the addition of the word die! I love it, sweet friend! You make some of the most gorgeous cards! Hugs!

  2. LOVE your background ... beautiful design and colours. And your pretty flower really pops with the bright orange. xx
