Planning My Days

The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today led me to Seaweed Kisses and this planner. With Christmas money I received I bought myself a Webster Pages Planner, something I have wanted for a very long time, and totally different from any planner I have ever had before. I will not buy a new book every year as most do, I will transfer my pages to a box and just get new inserts and such. I don't have the space for books, my crafts need that space! Anyway, back to my planner. I had been messing with some of the things I wanted in my opening pages, but the challenge today gave me that push to play. These pages I call my "Opening Act" as they will follow me from year to year. They will never go into storage. I am a very sentimental person, so that is what is going into these pages, plus my fabrics and paint chips - something I have always carried around. The lace is from a SCS friend Jennifer, The crystal chain from a friend in Vancouver, as is the pen and the stick pin. The envelope from my SCS friend Audrie, who also hosts the Inspiration Challenge every week. Some of my art work, and thoughts and the pages. Sweet paper clips holding ribbons, pieces of felt, a bit of glam in the sparkle ribbon, and little notes from my RAK (Random Act of Kindness) friends, and my dogs, my beloved doggies. So, I have more to add as I go though the year. I am stamping on my calendar pages and colouring as the month finishes up, inside the planner. I will show another couple of pages as the year progresses. Thanks for looking ...

  1. Oh, Kia, I saw this on SCS and commented, but I really love being able to expand this in Chrome to see up close more. Your cherished memories are so touching and warming, and I love that you are a sensitive and sentimental person (not to my total surprise, I will say). You are a sweetheart, and each of these precious elements in your planner are so beautiful and meaningful! I love that you keep these with each new year's planner. Beautifully done, precious and dear friend! Hugs! xoxo
