This card came about as I wanted to enclose a letter to a friend in a card. Sending a letter without a card feels like the letter is naked ... you know what I mean! I went to my new stamps from the latest release at Frantic Stamper and picked this flower for my card. I inked the flower with Tim Holtz Festive Berries - I love that bright red, and spritzed lightly with water before stamping, then added Wink of Stella to the flower centres. The sentiment is stamped just with the ink. I die cut the flower on the petal labels and used a smaller petal label behind for interest. I added a little bakers twine to the petal labels and attached to the card on foam strips. A few sequins and crystal finished my card. Done in less than 10 minutes. As I was doing this I was thinking how nice it would be to do this kind of card for my customers to enclose with their orders as a thank you. It can be done in different colours and different sentiments, and left blank on the inside except for a post it note with the thank you. They can then use the card as they wish, hopefully to send happy wishes to a friend. I have been wanting to get a stamp made to stamp on my post-it notes, seems now is a good time.
