Waiting for Spring

The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers was to visit a site inspired by all things minimalist. Certainly, there was much to inspire, but in the end I kept coming back to this room. It reminds me of my cottage days. For my card, I inked my stamp with distressed ink and spritzed with water. I then embossed my wall panel with my distressed stripes embossing folder and attached on foam strips. I added the branch and the bird, which is on a foam dot. Then a few sequins and gems to finish ....

  1. Oh, Kia, what a gorgeous card! Your background is amazing, and I love this serene branch with the bird and (as always) your lovely sequins and crystals - they finish all your cards so perfectly! Sending warm hugs until spring, sweet friend!

  2. Very pretty! Love the clean and rustic elements!
