I am in the process here of making a card for a very sweet craft friend who needs some hugs. All I knew when I started what that I wanted to stencil a heart and I wanted a cat, so that was my starting point. I made my stencil using the negative from a die cut using a Spellbinders Nested Hearts. To stencil I used Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick. I played around with the placement of my heart and made 2 backgrounds while I was at it. I also made the same hearts for the inside of both cards. The sentiment is stamped using Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy. I die cut and styled the cat and attached on a foam dot, along with some hearts that I coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers. I think it is sweet that the kitty is looking up at the hearts which has a special meaning. I added some crystals to finish.
