Believe in Rainbows

This is done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today where we are visiting a Pinterest site called sumcoco.com. I picked the following picture for inspiration as when I saw this picture I was thinking the houses looked like rainbows.

These houses are built in Italy in a Village called Cinque Terre and it looks like a beautiful place to visit.

I decided I would do a rainbow card as that is what I thought of when I first saw the picture. I am using A Colorful Life Design stencil called Cloud Edger to do the clouds, along with distress oxide inks.

To apply the ink I used one of the small thin Life Changing brushes, applying heavier along the edge of the stencil and feathering as I went out. I started with the spiced marmalade and ended with it as well.

When I was done stenciling I went back and added a bit more ink lightly in places, but made sure I kept a good amount of white.

I then placed my card in my mini Misti and stamped the sentiment from Impression Obsession using VersaFine Clair ink in Fantasia.

To finish up I added some Nuvo Jewel drops in various colours.

This certainly was an easy card to make. It took a about 20 minutes to do the stencil work, then just the stamping and the jewel drops. Easy-peasy!
